The Story
The sophomore studio album from Seattle’s Tad! 8-Way Santa was originally recorded in 1990 at Smart Studios in Madison, Wisconsin along with producer Butch Vig just before he would help Nirvana with the transformational Nevermind. Slightly more reigned in than the bands powerful debut, 8-Way Santa offers up more detail while still maintaining their roaring guitars. The band's new found fondness for melody and hooks gave their audience heavy songs that they could scream along with.
Thirteen tracks in all. Released by Sub Pop on “Loser Edition Purple” colored vinyl housed in a gatefold sleeve with a foldout poster featuring the Decibel Hall of Fame article and digital download.
